Vertex Solutions' first Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) contract win is where we excelled as the Prime systems integrator for the Pilot Training Transformation (PTT) contract.  Through this contract we have collaborated with companies like Google, CAE, Discovery Machine, iPerformX, and where lasting partnerships were formed with companies like Ryan Aerospace and Varjo.  We have since grown the concept of PTT to the U.S. Navy, Colombia, and Republic Airways' LIFT Academy.  Vertex has recently successfully installed 25 T-6B ITDs at NAS Corpus Christi, TX and is installing the first of 25 T-6B ITDs at NAS Whiting Field, FL with more to follow at other NAS locations.  Our team currently provides onsite support to five USAF locations and two US Naval Air Stations.  Watch this short video to learn more about PTT.

Reconfigurable Multi-Crew Mixed Reality (MR) Flight Simulator

A multicrew trainer equipped with interactive cockpit, video pass through, NVG training capability, and 6DOF motion.  Vertex Solutions' second consecutive DIU advanced pilot training program contract win.  This collaboration integrated hardware from Ryan Aerospace, Bugeye Technologies, Varjo, and other COTS solutions to create a best in class multi-crew XR training solution.  Vertex is currently nearing completion of the installation of five of these systems in Fort Novosel, AL.  Watch this short video to see this impressive flight simulator in action.

F-16 Reconfigurable Mixed Reality Fighter Trainer

Integrating the latest in MR technology, our highly immersive F-16 MR Fighter Trainer featuring Metrea’s NOR software showcases EP’s, mission simulations, and weapons training, all within a single device designed to integrate seamlessly with your training program.  This collaboration integrated hardware from Ryan Aerospace, Bugeye Technologies, Ryan Aerospace, and other COTS solutions with Metrea's NOR simulation platform to create a true-to-life XR training experience.

Part of the Virtual Training for Air Dominance/Fighter Bomber Fundamentals (VTRAD/FBF) contract, our third consecutive DIU advanced pilot training program contract win, where we were selected to provide reconfigurable mixed reality T-38C training devices to the USAF.  We are also on contract to deliver reconfigurable F-16 mixed reality training devices.  Vertex is currently producing the T-38C and F-16 production models.  Watch this short video to see these beyond impressive flight simulators in action.

Instructor Operator Station (IOS)

New this year, Vertex is introducing our newly designed IOS, offering real-time interaction and control over the simulator during training sessions. Vertex IOS marks just the beginning of our broader vision for an integrated training ecosystem.

Imagine this: Vertex’s hardware is fully reconfigurable, and with our Digital Backbone software integration layer, we can seamlessly integrate with any image generator, software application, or hardware configuration. Vertex IOS operates across all devices, enabling multi-player hosting and support, while its timeline functionality provides real-time maneuver recognition and tagging, collecting and aggregating data for comprehensive analysis. Our advanced data collection software tracks user performance, comparing current results against previous averages to provide a clear progression overview. By leveraging data from each device, combined with integrated courseware, instructors can deliver detailed student debriefs. Instructional content is displayed directly on devices, with courseware seamlessly embedded into scenarios for enhanced learning, and standalone courseware ties the entire training experience back to classroom instruction for a truly cohesive learning environment.
